She’s turning Violet!
♫ Thursday, May 9th, 2013The final touches on the ‘candy violet purple’ looks incredible! Once the NJS flake goes on this number, it’ll look just like a Keirin frameset.

The first couple of stages are quite the looker! I have a few more dressing for this number before I top it off with the ‘good stuff’ (the icecream)!
The Purefixed frameset is coming along with asymetrical fades and transitions from lime to violet (Hubba Bubba) purple. I love where the first stage is going – stay tuned for stage 2-4 (which I’ll be combining together).
Although this is just the sealer, it’s always nice to see the frameset when they’re in the juicy state! In the end, this number will eventually become a matte black Bat Mobile, but you get the best of both world for your viewing pleasure.
David has done the designs with gold treatment complemting the matte black frameset. We’ll be protecting the artworks and re-apply the satin/matte coatings to protect the gold details.
This gokart’s shin is taking shape slowly by surely! I would try to get some sun images for you folks out there but this number is quite hard to move around. I’ll just have to wait till completion day (coming soon)!
Base sealers applied, now time to prep and get this number ready for its decal session. More to come soon!
Custom mixing the ‘British Racing Green’ had got to be one of my favorite color tones. I wish this frameset was getting the super wet Euro-gloss, but we are going in the other direction and choosing the matte.
The ‘Lion of J” kendama is quite the looker! A few more stages before this number is ready to shipped and enjoyed by a happy client.
We are now finalizing the Lexus white base, looks like it’ll be ready to apply the pearl stages pretty soon.
The final base is in order and looks just like the Porsche (silver tone). Now that that’s out of the way we are getting the effects package in order to have the NJS Japanese frameset feel. Quite the hybrid but in the end this project will align.
The completion of this project blows the original out of the water. The clear has more effects, there is more luster, dents repaired, and the newly applied decals are purely amazing!
If you would like to see more finalized versions of this project, the can be view here…
So far this frameset is looking pretty good; working on the prep work before decal applications.
