Although the concept sketch is on full color the actual ‘Link’ character will be black line work and the rest of kendama will be in full color. Hopefully there will be enough surface area to implement metallics greens, ice blue, and yellow tones.
Now that the “Red Wagon” is fully built – its looking amazing with the oversized wheels and the black matte accents. I’m glad that the design accents showed up against the rest of the build. It’s time to install the custom interior in the bed portion and this thing will be set!
It’s about that time to get more print time into the shop. Not sure what the next cover story will be, but maybe we’ll product a video before then!?
Hey folks, if you get a chance to see the “Hubba Bubba” in person – you’ll be purely blown away! The amount of techniques involved in this project will drive you crazy just trying to place them all together. As long as I have an extremely happy client that’s what counts most.
Presented this ‘Mothers Day’ gift to my mom over the weekend – and her jaw dropped! I think I used a bit too much ‘icecream’ because every time sun hit the surface she had to turn away from the shininess!
This isn’t the best image of the chameleon paint, but one we get another sunny day and this number is fully cured more will be provided. For now, enjoy this leaked photo of the project.
The concept sketch turn out really well and the frameset is looking incredible. I’ll post finals of the frame and fork at the end of the week.
Icecream graffiti sessions are officially taking place as we speak. I’ll be doing bits and piece here and there – eventually covering the entire wall. I’ll keep general image updates of the progression on here and facebook.
Great to see that the Yamaguchi pursuit is looking quite nice fully build up. I have to remember how I custom mixed this lavender to do one of my personal projects. Enjoy!

I know you’re used to seeing bike frames and toys on this site, but it’s time to switch it up and show you other projects that we work on. Take this GoKart for example – we’ll be applying a high based metallic silver with a rainbow hollow flake. This paint scheme is applied to NJS Japanese frames, but we switching the platform with the same Icecream Feel.
The fade on the Bareknuckle look incredible. The masking and transition between the colors are seamless. I’ll try to get some sun images for you folks, this number shines like there’s no tomorrow.

Looks like the Toucan frameset is in great hands at RevoLights. They have really put a number on this baby with their signature front/rear rim lighting – looks sa-weet!
For the next couple of months I’ll be producing many various types of iterations of frame concepts to design for 2013. Most of the inspirations are variations of soft-rides and old school funny frameset. Enjoy the progression, I’ll be taking a favorite out of the pile each week to present to you folks out there.
