Road Worrior!

Thursday, May 23rd, 2013

This number is definitely ready for the streets and give quite a face lift to the rest of the motorcycle roaster. In direct sunlight – it presents itself with a slight shimmer that is integrated into the base-coats, and creates a deep galaxy effect within the clear coats.

Ohhh man!

Thursday, April 18th, 2013

From the decal applications to the metallic gold pin striping – this frameset looks better than the original (from what I’ve seen in the images). The amount of research and attention to detail paid off in the end. Hopefully I’ll be getting some images of this frameset at built up.

Steppin’ up to the plate!

Thursday, April 11th, 2013

The first pass of pin-stripping is showing great potential. These decals were the original set from 1970, so difficulty of placing them were quite high. There is a lot more prep work to go but you can get an idea what the finalized frameset will look like.

This bike was repaired from an intense crash – bending the top and down tube along with the fork. Now we have a fully repaired frameset (not exactly ike the original) but close enough to get the point across

Great to see that the Yamaguchi pursuit is looking quite nice fully build up. I have to remember how I custom mixed this lavender to do one of my personal projects. Enjoy!

Clean n’ Simple

Friday, February 22nd, 2013

The matte coatings on the Colnago World Cup creates a classic feeling – removing the existing branding is always a great choice. Nothing can match the art of minimalistic decal placements.

Olive?

With this frameset, we’ll be toning this frameset down and giving more of classic/simplistic look. Changing the color to deep olive green with a satin finish.

Glossy Bridgestone

Tuesday, January 15th, 2013

This Rb-1 is looking glossier and blacker than ever. This successful restoration is near spot on to the original, with the exception of removing some additional accent decals

We’ll be transforming this RB-1 into the final image in this post. With the exception, that this frameset will have the high-end Euro gloss applied with the Icecream touch of deep luster.
